National Clean Out Your Computer Day

Observed on the second Monday in February, National Clean Out Your Computer Day is a day to take some time out of  your busy schedule to do needed care on your computers.

Over time, files and programs that are unused on your computer clog the memory and cause confusion during retrieval and use of other files.  They may also slow down your computer.  The second Monday in February, Clean Out Your Computer Day, is the day to spend time with your computer!

Oh boy, I love doing this post. As we all know especially us older folks, time goes by pretty fast as long as you don't blink. But that would make you have to go to the store for Visine.

Our computer's chug along occasionally choking, burping and spitting up. Like having a baby that hums. Most of us have a love/hate relationship with our humming friend until that day he/she breaks up with you and dies.

Sometime's all the problem is your dust bunnies moved from under your bed to being sucked by your computer's fan to its new home. Hear that...that was a cough.

Love your computer and it will still give you a hard time but at least, it's not choking, burping and spitting up...for the time being.
